The Déclic workshop: raising awareness of carbon footprints
4e and lycée students played a board game to collectively build a lower-carbon way of life.
Yesterday, 4e and lycée students took part in the Déclic workshop, a fun and committed initiative to raise young people's awareness of the carbon footprint and of everyday actions that can make a difference.
In small groups, the students gathered around an educational board game. The goal: to collectively build a lower-carbon way of life. With themed cards (food, transport, housing, digital...), each player had to make choices and debate the best strategies to reduce ecological impact while respecting the constraints of real life.
Learning by playing
The dynamics of the game stimulated collective intelligence, cooperation and critical thinking. Between passionate exchanges and moments of reflection, the students found that some seemingly harmless habits (such as taking the car for short trips or eating meat every day) can have a significant impact on the climate.
A real click
The workshop helped everyone better understand the stakes of climate disruption and leave with concrete ideas for acting at their own level:
- favour cycling or walking;
- adopt a more plant-based diet;
- reduce digital consumption;
- think about consumption choices.
