Prehistory at the Cambous site and a cave visit
Pupils discovered the prehistoric village of Cambous and visited a cave to better understand life in prehistoric times.
The prehistoric village of Cambous is one of the oldest villages in Europe. This site, still being studied, is an archaeological rarity.
The houses, partly in ruins but still visible, have been preserved there for 4,500 years.
Our pupils set out to discover the stone circles, menhirs and dolmens. On another occasion, they were able to observe rock art, to get the most complete view possible of life in prehistoric times.
