Roald Dahl Day on Monday 14th September 2026
The school will celebrate the author of more than 20 children's books with dressing up, activities, competitions and a parade.
This year we will celebrate Roald Dahl Day on 14th September to remember the world famous author who wrote more than 20 children's books, including The Twits, Fantastic Mr Fox and The Witches.
Many of these books have been turned into films and musicals, like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda.
On Monday 14 September, we invite the children to dress as their favourite Roald Dahl character. In school they will take part in exciting activities and competitions with their teachers.
There will be a parade and a certificate presented to the best dressed in each class.
