In February, the seconde pupils of Eridan International School explored a key economic question: how do you set selling prices?
An immersion in the heart of the market
The pupils went to the Halles Laissac, an emblematic place of local trade. Among passionate traders and fresh produce, they observed pricing strategies and the factors that influence prices: cost of raw materials, competition, demand and seasonality.
Exchanges and learning
Through discussions with the traders, the pupils discovered the challenges of managing margins and customer relations. The trip helped them better understand the economic issues behind a simple displayed price.
An enriching experience
In addition to theory, the trip strengthened the pupils' team spirit and curiosity. A fine initiative that links education and fieldwork for more concrete and lively learning.
