A floral surprise for Mother's Day at the art club
For Mother's Day, art club students made bouquets of paper flowers.
As Mother's Day approached, the art club students put their whole heart into preparing a colourful and symbolic gift: a bouquet of paper flowers.
In a joyful and focused atmosphere, the children cut out, assembled and glued multicoloured petals to create magnificent floral designs. It was real teamwork and careful craftsmanship, where everyone could express their creativity while thinking of their mum.
Guided by their teacher, the activity let the students handle different materials (card, scissors, glue, felt-tip pens and more) and try out folding and arranging techniques. The result: unique, brightly coloured bouquets.
"I'm making a red flower because it's my mum's favourite!" exclaimed one student, proud of her work. Another added: "We learned how to make the stems and leaves in 3D, it was great!"
The activity also helped develop fine motor skills, a sense of aesthetics and patience, while preparing a touching gift to give this Sunday. Well done to the budding artists for their enthusiasm and involvement.
