The Parcours du Coeur at school
Every year, from CP up to the lycée, the school runs half a day of health prevention workshops as part of the Parcours du Coeur.
Every year we take part with our students in the "Parcours du Coeur" campaign.
The event takes place over half a day, with classes from CP up to the lycée and several workshops of about twenty minutes. For the 2022-2023 year, the workshops were: sport with pulse taking, first aid initiation, food, sugar and diabetes, screens and their effects, and tobacco and its effects.
Most of the workshops are led by our teachers, in French or in English, as well as by parents with health-related expertise.
The Parcours du Coeur is the largest health prevention campaign organised in France. Its aim is to reduce cardiovascular disease through information, screening and learning healthier ways of living. Under the aegis of the French Cardiology Federation, it mobilises several hundred urban areas, towns and communes across the country every spring.
